The Central Bureau of Investigation roped in AIIMS forensic department to give a medico-legal opinion on Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case.

According to Times Now report, key viscera tests and Chromatography test have not been done by the Cooper hospital. The report further stated that no drugs test was conducted by the state-run hospital. The news channel also stated that the CBI will be probing the lapses in SSR‘s autopsy. Meanwhile, “AIIMS and CBI are in agreement on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, but more deliberations are needed. There is a need to look into some legal aspects for a logical legal conclusion,” Sudhir Gupta, Chairman of AIIMS Forensic Medical Board, told IANS.

The remarks came almost a week after the AIIMS forensic team returned from Mumbai.

Also, the medical board constituted by AIIMS has ruled out poisoning as a possible cause of death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
